The concept for this small 90m2 store was an idea of lightness.
Lightness as a concept; from experience to materiality. The concept draws from the sculptor Larry Bell, trying to emulate the etherial depth in his work in materiality and space, propagating this idea of art as experience, one that seems to lend its self to modern retail.
OBS fixtures remain ubiquitous through out this concept articulated in differing materialities that sought to compliment the idea of lightness and the etherial.

One of the larger obstacales to create this idea of lightness was the existing mall column in the centre of the space. This was clad in backlit LED and Polycarbonate and the inherent structure of the column used to cantilever silicon table
